William Pepper is a human rights lawyer most known for his defense of James Earl Ray in the trial for the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr. Pepper is also the chief attorney for Sirhan Sirhan and has worked for over a decade to get a ruling for a retrial for the murder of Senator Robert Kennedy. Pepper has represented governments and heads of state, and has appeared as an expert witness on international law issues. In his 2016 book The Plot to Kill King: The Truth Behind the Assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., Pepper reveals dramatic new details of the night of the murder of Martin King, the trial, and why Ray was chosen to take the fall for a government-sanctioned assassination. His findings make the book one of the most important of our time—the uncensored story of the murder of an American hero that contains disturbing revelations about the obscure inner workings of our government and how it continues, even today, to conceal the truth. Bill Pepper has also been active in the 9/11 truth movement, including giving a keynote address at the historic 9/11 truth conference held in Chicago in 2006, and working closely with a distinguished team of lawyers now assembling a 9/11 legal strategy.
Films in Order of Appearance
9/11 Suspects – Produced by James Corbett, 2016. A six-part series of podcasts produced by The Corbett Report that focuses on suspects who might have had a role in the crime of 9/11 or were involved in the cover-up of that crime. The first two podcasts examine Christine Todd Whitman, from the EPA, and Richard Baer, a former CIA case officer. The last four podcasts conclude the evening presentation by examining Philip Zelikow, Rudy Giulani, General Ralph Eberhart and the Dancing Israelis.
9/11 Inside Out: An Expert’s Guide to the 9/11 Conspiracy – Produced by Jeremy Rys, 2016. A well-researched overview of the crime of 9/11, focusing on the individuals, firms and organizations that were in a position to “make it happen.”
NIST Fail! A Conspiracy Funhouse Visualization – Produced by Stew Bradley, along with 19 other humorous films between 2011 and 2013 in the Stew’s Conspiracy Funhouse series. This film focuses on the shameful NIST Report on WTC 7.
Conspiracy Theory Exposed – Produced by Adam Green, 2017. This film is a shorter version of the widely viewed and highly rated documentary The Conspiracy “Theory” Conspiracy, which Adam Green produced in 2015 containing hundreds of news clips, declassified documents and incontrovertible evidence demonstrating the mainstream media’s propaganda campaign to marginalize and suppress “conspiracy theories.” Adam kindly produced this shorter version for the film festival.
Why Revisit 9/11? and Seven Countries in Five Years – The first clip is from the AE documentary 9/11 Explosive Evidence: Experts Speak Out, and highlights how 9/11 has been and is being used to pursue an imperialist military agenda and to curtail civil liberties. In the second clip, General Wesley Clark shares in 2004 what he was told by a fellow ranking military officer in the weeks after 9/11 about plans to invade seven countries in five years. Most of what he was told has already come to pass.
Calling OUT Bravo-7: Firefighters’ Perspectives of High-Rise Fires and 9/11– Produced by Firefighters (2017). This is an abbreviated version of a longer film that focuses on fire physics and building designs. It explains why firefighters continue to battle high-rise fires without fear of sudden and complete building failure.
An Act of State – The Execution of Martin Luther King – A music video produced and performed by Vic Sadot, it was inspired by the work of William Pepper and his first book, An Act of State: The Execution of Martin Luther King.
Stand for the Truth: A Government Researcher Speaks Out – Produced by Ted Walter for Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, 2017. In August 2016, Peter Michael Ketcham, a former employee of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), began looking into the reports his agency had released years earlier on the collapse of the World Trade Center. What he found shook him to the core. Ketcham tells his story, and inspires us to believe that we can muster the courage to confront the truth — and heal the wounds of 9/11.
